Aye. I'd happily give up hams (they don't fit anyways) for the ability to chose damage types. On a similar note, give assault launcher (the ones that fire frig missiles) bonuses to khanid ships....

Twiddling fitting around could be a good start... Also, rebablancing large lasers so megapulse and megabeam are the high caliber ones and tachyons are truly oversize weapons would be nice.
